Ronald L. Plate was convicted of several counts of first- and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor (AS 11.41.434; AS 11.41.436) in case number 3KN-93-289 Cr. After he was convicted, Plate filed a petition for post-conviction relief (case number 3KN-94-881 Civ). The superior court granted Plates petition and set aside his convictions. Plate appeals his convictions, and the State appeals the superior courts decision to grant post-conviction relief. We affirm the superior courts decision granting post-conviction relief to Plate.
